Thanks to the electronic switching system, the loom can achieve rapid start-up, accurate braking to the designated position, step-less speed control, and automatic speed changing. The rapier loom rotational speed can be freely set on the operation interface where a wide range of speeds are available. All these control features ensure reliable, stable functioning as well as reduces cost spent on shedding system maintenance. Weft-finding motion is precisely controlled by the CPU and SRM. The warps are given shedding motion by the switched reluctance motor. Novel Transmission Mechanism for Shedding System The powerful, effective electronic switching system allows the motor to consume less energy, reduce the failure rate, and decrease maintenance cost. The use of switched reluctance motor eliminates the need for transmission clutch and drive belt. It's definitely an advanced world-level weaving machine. Directly driven by the cutting-edge switched reluctance motor(SRM), our rapier loom not only uses 20% less energy than conventional ones under the same weaving conditions, but it also gives higher power factor while yielding quality fabrics. The Loom Driver software is included in the package, but no computer or design programs such as Photoshop.The RFR元1 high speed rapier loom inherits the desirable features from RFR元0 weaving machine. The Controller software also runs under Linux and MAC. Changes are instant start & stop as many times as required, without problems. The loom is computer-controlled and manually-operated because it is designed to be operated by the creator/ designer/weaver. Many of our customer also use the loom for creating one-offs/ special commissions (textile artists, for example) and mass customization.
